Four interactions within a single ensemble. The main house prioritized the preservation of the existing facade, a testament to the region’s characteristic architecture. The project sought to bring the garden indoors, fostering a more fluid and effective relationship between the built space and its natural surroundings. The intervention is based on self-construction principles, including the creation of various concrete furniture elements. The Tower Annex, known as the “Grandmother’s House,” was converted into a studio space designed for potential local accommodation, creating an autonomous social unit. Due to its strong presence on the site, it was preserved and enveloped in a new architectural expression that both integrates and protects it. The ensemble is completed by two additional annexes: one rehabilitating the former garage while maintaining its original reading and harmony with the main house; and a multipurpose shed, built using reclaimed and reused materials, reinterpreting the plasticity of the region’s traditional architecture.
